  1. The Last 100 days The last 100 days have been the best that I have had in the last 15 years or so, and I had coronavirus during that same period. So Why have these past few months been so great? I took control of my life back. It wasn’t easy, at first. It seemed such a daunting task that I would never be able to have the kind of freedom I once knew before I started dipping. Then I met you all. Not everything comes easy or natural to me. Quitting was one of those things that I could not seem to crack on my own. But it is hard to solve a problem when you don’t know all the pieces of the equation yet. It seems like a simple solution standing where I am now, but when you are lost in a Haze of your own stupidity and addiction, it is anything but simple. Brotherhood + Accountability = Quit Not only does this formula create a successful quit, but it creates a more successful person in every aspect of life. There are many qualities that a man must possess in order to be held accountable and to hold people accountable. Discipline is the big one that comes to mind. The snowball effect that takes place when you apply discipline to the hard things in your life is an incredible thing. Knowing that you are capable of conquering what you previously thought was impossible and continuing to show that former addict bitch inside us that we are no longer going to allow ourselves to stand in the way of our own freedom is such a great feeling. It is what makes the entire process worth it. I appreciate every one of you that helped me get to where I am today. Your help and guidance have given me back more than I could even try to list, but I will site a few. 1. My kids now have a nicotine free Father for an example to look up to. 2. I have my health back. My circulatory and respiratory system function normally again. 3. I am no longer held captive to my addiction. I earned by freedom back and will continue to do so, until I die. True Accountability is often promised but rarely practiced in today’s world. So much so that not everyone has the ability to handle and recognize it. It is absolutely KEY to a successful quit. @8meds @Lipi @Lee @Lighty @ThatMan6ix @KD2 @beast42 @ThatMan6ix @Joe Quitter @Sand @Napa @Golf @Uncle hess @shawnd11 @Jock0 @RockSteddie @Csanders @Baseball XDipper @2CSMLCNoMore @Tyler @Zeus @Doc @IndianaMike@SRains918 and everyone else, Thank you all for straightening my ass out when it was sorely needed and for the support along the way. It is something that I will be eternally grateful for. It's extremely difficult to go back and read the opening of my intro but it is the best reminder of who I was without being quit. That state of mind was horribly depressing, and I will never allow myself to feel like that again. From where I am now, I can’t imagine going back to that. I look forward to what the future holds now instead of spiraling downward in a circle of self-destruction and failure. The first step to creating a better life is to regain control of the one you are in. Now that I have done that, I am able to move on to other things that I had previously thought impossible. I look forward to our quit journey together and to passing along everything I have learned so far to others stumble upon us in a state of desperation and despair, just like I was 100 days ago.
